Read Ephesians 4.14-16
“.. from Him the whole body ..grows and builds itself up in love ..” (Eph.4.16)
The Lord calls His people to proclaim His truth and to display His love. Doctrine and devotion belong so closely together that the one without the other effectively neuters His church. As you join others in worship today cherish both His truth and His love.
In what ways have you seen your congregation growing over the past months?
Are there areas of your life which you need to bring under the headship of Jesus again today?
Prayer: Help me today to rejoice as I go up again ‘to the house of the Lord’ to join Your people in worship and praise: may I be a channel of Your peace to others today.
